Looks like we are going to have to cancel our dinner reservation, and cook and drink something good at home.

Happy Valentines Day everyone.

IK,
Thought of you and Bev and the Massachusetts folks when CNN mentioned possibility of extensive power outages in the Northeast. You must still have power unless your computer is wireless or on batteries. Storm is taking the form of drizzle here so far. Stay snug and don't harm yourselves shoveling.

It's turned into an ice storm down here. I haven't heard about any power outages yet.

If we loose powa, as well we might; the most critical things we lose are puter and TV. All critical else is covered by the generator. It fired up just fine for its weekly test this morning, and we've got a good supply of propane.

hehe......Yes I did spend probably more time in the penalty box than I did on the ice in my short k-12 hocky career....

My punishment will be when I return to Beantown this weekend....I was told everything flash-froze last night.

Tons of ice here in mid-Atlantic Jersey. The trees look like they are made of glass. With the sun reflecting off them this morning my drive to work was quite beautiful. We had no school yesterday and a delayed opening today. Plenty of power outages, but I made out ok. My sweetie and I will celebrate V-day tonight.

She's mentioned him before but possibly not by name.
I received an e-mail valentine from a high school classmate that I last saw at a class reunion five years ago. We have another reunion coming up this May...
Funny thing is I don't remember him from high school but we now e-mail each other fairly often and send snail mail (letters) now and then.

Well, Wonders, it's nice to know that SOMEBODY pays attention around here. My honey's name is Tom. He drinks an occasional beer but that's all. I've tried to get him interested in wine to no avail.

Two interests I don't share with my high school classmate: hill climbing and karaoke.
I think he's maybe more a beer drinker too but I will find out for sure at the next reunion. We do share an interest in film (he has contributed motion picture reviews on a NY Times website).
