You MUST see this movie (Ray Charles Story)

Jamie Foxx IS Ray Charles and you HAVE to see this movie! Last night we were privileged to see an advance screening of the upcoming Ray Charles biography, Ray, written by charter WINE EXPO-ista (and our Grillmaster General!) James L (Jimmy) White. Without hesitation we are proclaiming this the best musician biopic ever made as it seamlessly intertwines the story of the trials and triumphs of one of our greatest musical geniuses with the music that resulted: electrifying performances of I got a Woman, Hallelujah (I love her so), Unchain my Heart, Night Time is the Right Time, Tell Me What I Say and more illustrate a serious look into the roots of Mr. Charles and, ultimately, a hugely important part of American culture. While there is a scene where Ray discovers heroin as a fellow musician tells him that smack is better than sex, the overpowering message of this movie is that MUSIC can be better than both!

In theaters October 29th, the amazing soundtrack drops Oct 19th

Saw Ray Charles live in Frankfurt, Germany. Glad I saw him perform at least that one time.
