2007 Domaine Donstant-Duquesnoy Cotes du Rhone, Vinsobres

Drank this with Hickory Grove and Julian (sp?) goat cheese at Zely and Ritz, Raleigh. Dark crimson color. Red berries on the nose. Smooth with a medium-length finish. Pleasantly tart with enough acid to balance the fruit. Very slightly herbal. (Another reviewer says black currant and lilac aromas and blackberries on the flavor front but also enjoyed the wine.)
