This is a delicious, mostly syrah, blend that is easy on the wallet. Not overly complex but well made and tasty. The wine displays dark and brite red fruits with a hint of spice. It's full in the mouth and exits with a very long finish. I would not have guessed a syrah blend if put to the test. 13.8%Alc/vol. One of the better under $10 I've had this year. Picked it up locally for $9...tis a real deal. The below is from their web site.

2001 Abundantly Rich Red, California
The 2001 ABUNDANTLY RICH RED is a sumptuous layered blend of three Syrahs from the appellations of Paso Robles, Lodi and Arroyo Seco. Next was added Carignane and a bit of Sangiovese to set the stage for great 'bottle bouquet' then finished with Merlot to add another layer of richness.
