WOW!!! This came in (along with another 3 cases of Siduri and Novy wines) a few weeks ago and has been just resting down in the cellar. This is their bottom of the line Syrah, but it is sooo good. Lots of rich fruit, soft tannins and not too evident alcohol. Just so tasty. On ww's scale, it's about a 4+ lapper. Got to get more.

2002 Cougar Crest. WS gave it a 94 and only $26. I have a few on order. Review:

"Ripe, Beautifully focused and generous, a delicious mouthful of blackberry, Cherry, Blueberry, plum and exotic spice flavors that just don't quit, hinting at smoke and meat on the lithe, elegant finish. Impressive for its balance of power and grace. Drink now through 2012-H.S."

It's not in the shop. Wines like Novy/Siduri, APVin, Loring, etc. I get from the wineries. Their production is way too small to have much national distribution.
