2000 Chateau de la Gardine

An old friend from Salt Lake came by yesserday and Soooo I promptly found a reason to interrupt my current sabbatical. Seems like the 1st wine I taste is a killer. Know it can't be but this was good. Deep plum, nose of black fruits, spices and bacon fat. Lovely entry and good center palate weight. The weener was in CDP heaven, but looking back don't remember the finish as being memorable. It tasted so good I dint' pay any attention. Maybe a three-lapper. Delightful juice nonetheless and I'll try again when I'm back in fighting shape. 88/87.30 by the box.WW
