2004 Barrel 27 Syrah

Dark purple opaque wine. Lush nose with lots of deep black fruit dense, but perhaps a bit more toasted oak than my preference. Nice mouthfeel (very smooth and rounded), with deep fruits. oak notes and a nice acidity. Decent tannins and a bit of hotness at the end. Like biting into a Blueberry/blackberry pie.

This one needs a barbeque......hard to drink it alone.
