Very good. Leather on the nose. strong structure throughout, palate covering tannins, long finish, full bodied. The second half of the bottle (3 days later, in half-bottle with no air) was much better, so probably good to keep a few years. Good value.

I have some 2003 southern Rhones that are still displaying massive amounts of tannins that I fear, due to the hot vintage, will remain hard as nails.
