Really nice syrah. Dark in the glass, not opaque. Dark fruit, blackberry and mature plum on the nose. Varietally correct and tasty. Nice value for $9.99. 14%Alc/vol.

Tonight I bought a 2001 McDowell Syrah. Should I hold it for another couple of years?

You can drink in now, or hold for a couple of years!
