A new star in my galaxy. Had never tried this lovely CDP until my favorite pusher in San Diego put a box on my order back in March. Compares VERY favorably with the Vieux Telegaphe, one of my favs'. Clear ruby with all the requisite aromas and tastes, game, spice, plums and earth. A very deep wine that has a great future. 92/95. 32 by the box. 13.5% alc. WW

Another one of my favorite Rhone houses. You might develop a palate yet.

Had another fer lunch yesterday. Tons of stuff going on and needs at least another 3-6 to get rid of some tannins. Too bad this house got so much press as they have now jumped up to the mid-top tier of CDPs in pricing. Killer stuff but no change in scoring. WW

Opened another yesterday for lunch. Shedding the baby fat and the tannins have become far softer. Looks like it'll be there in another 2-3. A most enjeerable drink. No change in scoring. WW
