1996 Chateau Montus Madiran

Full aroma of cassis and dark fruit. A softened yet still complex texture, softened tannins, and plenty of fruit as well. A lovely, balanced wine that is drinking great and could probably go another few years. 12.5% alcohol, 30 E at the restaurant.
