2001 Dehlinger Syrah Estate

Deep ruby. Nose with some meaty, black fruit, spicy notes. Took 30 minutes to develop.All hit the palate along with an earthy barnyard. Solid entry, nice center, and a 3&3/4 lapper finish. Tannins shut the finish down so needs another 3-5 to complete the development. A solid Syrah that will show much better in the future. 89/89. 38 on futures. 14.3% alc. WW
