I thinking of serving a Petite Sirah as the red wine offering at a wedding dinner where the entree will be beef tenderloin and grilled salmon. Comments?

The short answer is sure, so long as it isn't one of the monster Petites (my favorite oxymoron). For all you want to know about Petite Sirah, and probably some you don't want to know; scroll down to Rhone/South of France/Varieties.
