2002 JJ Prum Wehener Sohnunur Riesling Spatlese

I thought I posted on this but can't find it. I very much like this wine. For a wine that was from a more focused and less ripe vintage as the 2002, this wine certainly showed its vintage characteristics but that was perfect for this spatlese. it had the ripeness to go with the stone fruits and floral nose but had a great structure beneath it for a surreal balance that just had to be tasted. Density yet light to the touch, crisp yet flavorful. Love that tension in the wine.
