Returned to JJ's Restaurant in Kansas City, MO a second night. This pale to medium gold Gewurz had both floral and spice scents. It was almost off-dry, yet with a pleasant degree of acidity. Quite nice. I like a spicy Gewurz and this one filled that bill.
Started dinner off with a different artichock appetizer--this time a whole artichoke was steamed and finished on the grill with balsamic vinaigrette marinade and served with drawn butter and lime slices. Yummy! The Gewurz was paired with chicken Teriyaki (hard to choose between that and the chicken Marsala), green beans, carrots, and cauliflower.

Back to the Port thread for the finish.
