The producer is Bodegas Tintoralba and I just picked up the 2002 for around $9USD.

From Robert Parket
A terrific bargain, this 2002, made from destemmed 100% Grenache (60-70 year old vines), was completely tank-fermented and aged. A Spanish fruit bomb, it reveals a dense purple color as well as loads of sweet kirsch liqueur, black currant, and berry fruit, medium body, terrific purity, and a Zinfandel-like spiciness.(RP)

Higueruela 2004 90 points Wine advocate in the June number 2005.
100% garnacha tintorera, a local grape grown at 1000 meters height in the area of Almansa, or more specific, the little village of Higueruela. For more information in Spanish look at www.tintoralba.com
Just curious, how did you get the wine?
Best regards
