This is a different producer than the Cotat cousins (notice the double T in the middle of the last name). Daniel Haas of Vineyard Brands, Birmingham, AL.
12.5% alcohol. Light-to-medium gold color.
Still retains a bright tangy citrus note. Shows less age than I had feared. Nice balance of ripe fruit and sufficient mineral and acidity. Very pleasant drinking, especially on the first evening. I paired it with garlic shrimp over rice and it was a nice complement to the shrimp.
