2002 Dry Creek Valley Fume Blanc

Took Mother out tonight since we were unsure about when the powa would come back (it did just before we left). Went to the Lobster Pound Restaurant in Lincolnville Beach owned by a friend. Started with steamed mussels in broth, and entreed with fried haddock (she) and light lobster newburgh (me). The signiture wine from DCV went fine, especially with the creamy lobster, despite the modest dose of oak.
