Got this from one of the wineries we visited down here a few days ago. Winery name comes from the Rhodesian Ridgebacks the winery owners have. They make this wine from juice they get from a company in British Columbia which in turn gets it from somewhere else (I forget exactly where). Had this with cheeses, pate and a baguette before the bubblies.

Don't really know, Eng. They get their juice from BC and Niagara in Canada, Napa and the Finger Lakes in the US and from Italy. The only specifics I recall is that they get some of the juice from Fulkerson Winery - across the street from Glenora. None of the wines they make are labelled as to where the juice is from.

KC and Eng,

This subject is causing a big fight in the Canadian wine industry. The rules for this sort of stuff are too lax for small wineries to accept and not lax enough for the big guys!
