If a quintal = 220.47 pounds, that's up to 5 tons to an acre.

100 x 220.47 = approximately 22,000 pounds

There are 2.47 acres to a hectare.

22,000 pounds equals 10+ tons

Half a hectare is 1.2+ acre

So, it's 10 tons a hectare = 5 tons per acre.
