alla' this fun. The guys got together at the club for lunch yesterday then after the following were consumed decided they needed to take a look in my cellar. Steve W brought a 94 Mondavi Reserve, 95 Diamond Creek Volcanic Hill and a 97 Stags Leap Napa to start the fun. My observations are as follows....If you have the Mondavi drink that sucker by Tuesday! Almost the same with the Volcanic and the Stags is singing in high C. At my place an orphan from Aussie the Henschke 95 Mt. Edelstone Keyneton Vinyard was the first and by acclimation the WOTD. Killer juice with di-no-mite aromatics and a finish that approached the legendary 5 lapper. Next came a 1999 Leonetti Merlot. What a DISSAPOINTMEMNT!!!! Nothing there. Noones Home. The gang be gone. Draino! To get the taste out of our mouths the last victim was an 04 Loring Brosseau. Nice ending to a great day. If you think I was up to this look at the time of this posting....I slept 11 solid. Now to go punish the bod and try to regain some semblance of sobriety. WW
