WoW, Most of the wines expect for the Dominus and the Chapoutier were purchased on release. ...err... a bit of ouch yes but not too bad.

Thanks! I had bought a WHOLE foie gras and did not even get a bite!! The other things that we had, now that I'm awake...

10 pounds (yes 10 pounds) of fresh live shrimp (10-15 count size), that were still jumping flown in from NYNY's harbours that we ate

1/3 sashimi style,
1/3 baked with garlic
1/3 pan seared
Some tempura'd

On top of that 3 pounds further of more shimp made into a tapas, gambas al ajillo

Fritata Patatas (a whole dozen eggs)

Appetizer platter consistent of
- pound of olives
- pound of marinated mushrooms
- 3 pounds of Manchego
- a whole pile of mini stuffed peppers

- 3 pounds of hand made meatballs in a spicy tomato sauce ....

A tomato watermelon salad that made everyone scared to try but turned out to be absolutely delish

And then there was desert:

12" Velvet cake
12" Tiramisu Cheesecake
12 litre VAT of Coconut with Toro and tapioca

..........

There was 14 people...........5 were kids.....

It was a rather hedonistic night.......

suffice to say, I did not eat any breakfast the next day!!!
