Hi everyone, I am new on the website and wanted to know if any of you have every tried Sutter Homes Shiraz wine. I plan on serving it for dinner to night with a spaghetti and a classic Caesar salad. If any one has any other suggestion for wine for dinner please let me know. Thanks

Hi JH and welcome to the board.

Shiraz is one of my favorite variatls. I haven't had the Sutter, but Rosemont has a good Shiraz, but I like there Grenach/Shiraz blend better. Jacobs Creek has a good Shiraz/Cab.

You may also try some Spanish Temperalo or Grenache based wines. Etim makes a good Grenache.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Welcome Jhacker, wouldn't serve the Sutter Home with Spaghetti and Classic Caesar Salad, not enough acidity. Would serve a Sangiovese or Salice Salantino.
