I would also suggest a German Riesling Kabinett which are inexpensive and also lightly sweet. As you may want sweeter, you can look for a Riesling Spatlese or Riesling Auslese in that order.

Another sweet wine to look for that is light and easy to drink is a bubbly from italy called a Moscato d'Asti. Look for 2007 releases as they are meant to be drunk early.
