Jas2002. Use the 1st post as your guide for great wines that will take your son well past the designated time-frame. As much as I hate to reccommended it, the Wine Spectator for a rag is fairly helpful. If you're looking for a book to accquiaint you to the maze of wine knowledge I think all on the board thoroughly reccommend " Wine for Dummies ". This is either the best, or close, to the most informative in the "Dummies" series. If you can't find what you want in SF call 1-800-331-3005 to Hi Time Wine Cellars. They normally have lots of selections in older Calif and Bordeaux wines. Dee Vine Wines at 1-877-389-9463 on the Embarcadero,
Premier Cru at 510-655-6691 in Oakland,Fine Wines International at 866-600-9463 at pier 19, or Red Carpet Wine at 800-339-0609 are a few of the good retailers in your area.WW Don't give advice on SWs' so someone else can chime in.
