Very few wines would still be alive from 1955. You may want to look for a better Bordeaux or a Port. A bit of Web sleuthing shows that '55 was a pretty good vintage for both, but again, it's been a long time. Expect to spend several hundred dollars or more (even into the thousands) on the endeavor. Try www.wine-searcher.com -- Put in the vintage of '55, set it to U.S., and give a look-see as to what's available and where. Good luck!
