Is this an Essencia or an Aszu? If it's the former, there may be an auction history for it listed in a book called Wine Price File, as Essencia is indeed very collectable and there's even a remote possiblity that a 100 year old example might be palatable. I've tasted examples 50-75 years old that were still sound and have had French Sauternes (made from grapes affected by the Botrytis mold) that were from turn of the century that were delicious.

You may find the book at the library, a fancy wine shop or a big city book store. It's also sold by Wine Trader Book Services. It is not inexpensive...the list price is $44 and it comes out annually. You can make further inquiries about the book's availability at winetrader@aol.com

And perhaps another board member is an Essencia fancier and will have a better idea of approximate value.
