Hello Jennifer!

Welcome to the wineboard. While the Atlas and Oxford are both great resources, the Oxford is tough reading unless you are taking exams. The Atlas is much easier reading.

If you just want to know more about regions and wines of the world, my favorite book (if you can find it) is simply called Wine by Andre Domine. The edition I have is from 2001 and it is easy reading, concise and has beautiful photography along with it.

You might be able to find a used copy on Amazon.com. I have used mine so much that the spine has fallen off!
