Wedding Wine Advice?

I am having a difficult time selecting a red wine and white wine to server for at our wedding. The meal choices are chicken pecan and roast beef au jus. The wedding will be the second weekend in August.

We really hope to find a good value under $10 per bottle. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
