seafood appetizers/wine pairings

I tasted a really nice wine recently that would go very well with seafood apps or mains. It's the 90+ California Pinot Grogio. It's quite unlike Italian PG - sort of half way from that to an Alsace Pinot Gris. Lots of nice fruit with a wonderful layer of of acidic, citrusy notes. If yo can find it, it should be about $11 - $12.
