As Bucko says, the pumps don't really work as well as advertised. The premise is good, but the implementation just doesn't deliver. At best, they may add a day or less to the life of the wine. A better solution is a product called Private Preserve. It puts a layer of inert gas on top of the wine, thereby displacing the oxygen.
