Hi Red, and welcome to the Wine Board. "Burgundy" from the grocery store is not. Hopefully these mislabled wines will someday vanish from even grocery shelves. If you want to persue the grape that real Burgundy is made from look for pinot noir wines from America and elsewhere.

There are many other wines that meet your requirements. Here are some easy to find ideas: Cline Zinfandel, Bogle Merlot and Petite Sirah, Beringer Founders Estate or Columbia Crest Grand Estate Cabernet Sauvignon.
