as some friends came over and wanted to try some supposedly exotic varietals. All are from Tobin James and all had one thing in common.... from 14.8% to 15.6% alc which came thru on the heat index. !st was the 2003 50% cab and 50% Syrah. A solid 15%. Okie-Dokie but a fruit bomb that was one-deminsional. No buyee miore. 2nd was the 2004 Primitivo. At 15.6% left no doubt this was an alcoholic beverage. Dint really get anything from the grape. Not me cauppa'. 3rd was the 2005 Refosco. At 14.8 was almost able to finsd the fruit, which I really dint care for. El Paso. All in all a very mediocre group of juice that seems very heavy-handed and contrived rather than natural. Don't think any of these bottlings
have any future. Very dissapointing. WW
