I've said it for years: Probably because she works for the Stimson juggernaut, Joy Anderson is the mots overlooked winemaker in WA. I LOVE her wines. They're soft and supple but true to their varietal character. The only mistake I ever thought she made was that God-Awful Vin de Pays Syrah she turned out a couple of years ago. Couch Potato wine all the way. Everything else - even her new off-dry Rose - right on!
