2001 Fox Run, Finger Lakes, Cabernet Franc ($17.99). Alcohol level is 12%. This was the wine along with their Lemberger that we all thoroughly enjoyed with lunch at Fox Run, even WW. Gives you varietal floral aroma on the nose along with cassis and plums there and on the tongue tip. Very complex and full with a tinge of Senaca dirt on the palate. Only hints of oak and tannin. The finish lingers and lingers.

It needed all this to handle our New Year's dinner of Slow Roasted Duckling in orange sauce, with wild rice stuffing.
