Well, I suppose my ego is comforted in knowing I'm not alone. Anne is, somewhat annoyingly however, much like Drew's wife, in that she never attempts to distinguish and/or identify the aromas and flavors in a wine, and all I usually get from her is some variant of "yummy." When pressed, she usually says, "It smells like wine" or "It tastes like wine."

Oh, well. However she does it, it's a neat trick which, at the very least, provides amusement for me in the evenings!

And, KC, if memory serves, Judy was invariably spot-on when we toured WA with you a few summers back. It didn't take her any time at all to separate the great from good, and good from bad wines we were tasting. I even remember her comparing from memory to past vintages she had tried.
