So #1 and #2 got knocked off again. It seems pretty clear OSU will move up to #1, but there is sure going to be a lot of whining and bitchin' over who is #2. My money is on LSU.

Boomer Sooner! Fiesta Bowl here we come!

If it were up to me, there'd be a playoff. Perhaps then somebody would deserve to win the title, but as of now, nobody deserves it. I mean, the title game will include a team that can't even beat Illinois, and whose signature win this season came against a Michigan team that lost to a App State. Across the field will either be a LSU team with 2 losses, or a team like Georgia that not only didn't win their conference, but couldn't even win their division. Ugh. Exciting season, to be sure, but it doesn't exactly set up a stellar title game.

On second thought, just give the title to Hawaii. At least they won all their games, and their comeback against Washington was sure fun to watch.

Wasn't that Hawaii game a hoot?! I'm sure that paved the way for them to get a BCS bid. Love it.

I sure would love to see a playoff system as well...sigh. Even the coaches are for it now, but does the BCS listen?

Being an East Coaster, I was really tempted to turn it off and join Anne in bed at the end of the 1st quarter when it was 21-0 U-Dub. But, I thought it would be fun to see how many yards Hawaii's QB would throw for while playing from behind. Little did I know it'd turn out like it did. That kid was 42-50 passing for the night. Really hope they get to crash the BCS party like Boise State did last year. If they give me half as entertaining a game as that Boise game last year, it'd more than justify it!

My wife is a rabid LSU fan, so you know who we're rooting for.
