Once, when I was the beverage director at Antoine's in New Orleans, I broke a magnum of Cask 23 Cab from Stags' Leap in the cellar and it splashed all over a brand new pair of expensive Italian shoes (light brown). I looked at my stained and splotched footwear, got a towel and rubbed every drop of that wine into every inch of those loafers and they had a wonderful Burgundy / Tobacco glow ever after and my feet smelled good too!
