Guitian Godello '04

Yeah, Godello is the grape. Usaully treated like Chardonnay in that it recieves some oak and some malo.

I brought a case into the restaurant last summer. Have had a rough time selling it because of the obscurity of the grape. I'm now moving the remaining bottles to the captain's list. If they don't sell there by the end of the summer, I'll take them home and enjoy them myself. Such is the case when trying different grapes.

Another grape that hasn't taken well for me is Gruner Veltliner. I'm about to bring most of that home as well.

Albarino, Sherube(sp), and Verdehlo have done OK, but I'm not buying anymore (for the restaurant). I can't get enouph of Verdejo (Naia). I've sold a good 25+ cases this past 10 months.

Sorry to bore you with such yapping. Give this or another Godello a try. If you are pairing with food, Pair as you would a Chardonnay and it should work.
