Dark color bordering on purple. Decanted 30 minutes before 1st pour and through evening. Nose and entry flavors tend toward the cranberry, and the body was relatively light for a Priorat. The finish picks up vanilla from the oak, but it tends to ride over, rather than under, the fruit. Some licorice flavors, as well as an earthy/mineral note add just a bit of complexity, but this wine doesn't seem all together at this point. Maybe I should have held it for another few years, but then again, it didn't seem to have the fruit to go the distance. So, who knows. Alc. 14%. Paid $20 on closeout a few years ago. Blend is 55% Grenache (85-yr old vines), 30% Carignan (95-yr old vines), and 15% Cab Sauv.

FWIW, WS 89, WE 89, RP 90 ('07 to '17).
