I didn't see this post before, so it here is my late opinion/contribution (hope is not too late).

If this is the wine that I remember, this is a very common/cheap with wine, use mostly for cooking.

I don't think this is from albariño grape but may be from palomino, since the wine flavor was blander. If I remember well it tasted more like a diluted white, dry Sherry.

The red version of the wine was similar to a Concord grape sweet wine, but not as sweet.
