2000 -- My first wine from the vintage

2000 Rosemount Estate, Sauvignon Blanc, Estate (Diamond), $10 (probably $8.50 at discounters). This very crisp, clean wine has very obvious gooseberry aromas that carry over to the palate, with additional citrus flavors at the end. My mental note was to match this one with a fresh tomato bisque or a seafood kabob. Not bad QPR.
