2001 St. Supery White Meritage

Sauvignon Blanc and Semillion; 13.5% alcohol; tried a glass at Fairmont Hotel in Kansas City thinking I was getting Sauvignon Blanc.

Medium straw color; nose and flavor of pear with some oak influence. Nicely blended, but I prefer the St. Supery 100% Sauvignon Blanc. This was edging toward the Fume Blanc style. Okay for its type.
