Wither Hills 2002 SB

Tried this one in a bar after work tonight. very crisp, extremely drinkable. Never tried the label before, but I took a blind guess at it being from Marlborough, due to a nice acidic sting. (My fist thought was "limes"... well, second thought, after "Yum".) Distinct sav blanc aroma, which I figured would be described as "gooseberry", even though I've never sniffed a gooseberry.

Checked the bottle afterwards... It's a Marlbourough all right, and the bottles notes mentioned "herbaceous and gooseberry aromas" and "lime characteristics". I also thought I picked a hint of oak, and their page confirms this.

The big issue: Would I drink it again? Hell, yes. Would I buy a bottle? I intend to. crisp, delicious, long-finishing and pretty damn complex. I was getting different tastes with each sip.
