Chavignol district in the Loire region. Purchased from Elliott's on Linden Wine Shop, Pinehurst after a tasting there. Imported by Turner Wine Imports, Morrisville, NC.
12.5% abv.
Color is pale and the wine is transparent in the glass. Nice grapefruit/lemon notes. Some elegance. Slightest grassy element but more citric than vegetal. Very nice example of Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc. Good with a chicken marsala and linguine and green beans.
