Hoppin`John I`ve had. I doctor the Black-eyes with onions, fresh garlic, tomatoes, and the remnants of the Virginia Ham left from Christmas,( Naturally Bone-In), plopped in my big ole stew pot with about 50/50 chicken broth and water, throw 3 or 4 bay leafs in and cook for 8 hours. MMMMM-GOOOOD! I`ll be having sin-fantsmic luck all year `cause I ate a big bowl last nite and coupled with the obligatory pig-out today makes for invincability. Rad, had a 96 Biale Zin" Aldo" vineyard with it. Perfect. Made the tobasco (red&green) absolutely sing. I`ll review it on the proper thread. I`m becoming redundant but ' HAPPY NEW TEAR 'WW
