Hi there, I'm getting married this August and was looking for a nice wine to buy now and age for 5 years to celebrate our 5th anniversary. We predominately drink SE Australian and BC wines now. Can you recommend any good wines. Also how about any that will age well in 10 years. Thanks!!!!

Hi dazza and welcome. Lots of stuff out there fitting that bill in reds from the most recent vintages 2001 and 2002. From Australia any Marquis Phillips shiraz, cab or blends will go the 5 and maybe 10 with proper storage. The Henry's Drive Reserve shiraz will go both distances. Pirramimma shiraz, Charles Cimicky, many of the D'Arenberg offerings, Elderton, Fox Creek, Leasingham Classic Clare,Rosemount Show Reserve, Traditional, 389, Balmoral, Bin 2 and many more will make for a fine anniversary, again given proper storage. The above wines can be had in the $15 to $60 range.
