Bought a box of all the new release Zins today from me local peddler. Hadn't had this particular producer before but it showed quite well. Medium deep ruby. Loads of berries on the nose with spices, cocoa, and an underlay of vanilla. Jammy fruits up-front. Solid entry with a weighty center and a 3&1/2 lapper finish. Still needs another 1-3 to shed some tannins and for the nose to expand. Well-made bottle. 88/87 18 by the box. 14.5% alc. WW
