2003 Girard Old Vine Napa

Medium deep ruby. Nose has a mixture of black, blue, and red fruits with some spicy pepper notes and a schoch of cinnamon. The taste mirrors the nose with a higher concentration of the blue-berry note. Very definately a laid-back style that emulates Bordeaux more than Napa. Not your usual Zinfandel. 88/87. 22 by the box. 14.2% alc. WW
