Had a great day today. Took our two older grandkids, at their request, to Olive Garden in BanGOR. Had a nice mid-afternoon dinner with a couple of glasses of their house PG, which was nice. Then after an evening interlude, we returned home, and since it was cool (yes cool) we built a small fire in the fireplace. As the kids toasted marshmallows, we quaffed a bottle of the '97 Easton Barbera. It now offers layer after layer of complexity to all the other goodies it previously displayed. For a four year old wine it is almost unbelievable. Tanks heaven we still have two more in the rack.

Unfortunately the only source we can find for the '98 is eVinyard.com who won't ship to us, and the winery won't either. Does anybody else know another source?
